Raidcesse is actively in development. Progress is not guaranteed to carry between beta updates. Check Discord for the current wipe schedule and announcements before committing to a long build.

  • Bugs and unfinished featuresSome systems are incomplete, and things will break. Use the in-game Report bug button when they do.
  • Balance changesWeapons, raid costs, loot and progression will be tuned between updates.
  • MaintenanceThe server will restart and go down for updates, sometimes at short notice.
  • Wipes and lost progressWipes, bugs or rollbacks can cost you items, bases and progress.
  • Full-loot PvPOther players can kill you, take what you carry and raid your base.

Learn the sprayEvery gun has a fixed recoil pattern you can learn. Aim down sights, crouch, sprint, and fit scopes, silencers, brakes, lasers and lights.

Upgrade from twig to wood, stone, sheet metal and armoured. Raiders bring C4, rockets, satchels and explosive ammo. When your base takes explosive damage, you get a raid alert with the grid square.

Walls and roofs hide what you can't see. The server withholds hidden players from your client.

STATUS AND WIPES
On Discord

Join whenever you like once access opens; there's no scheduled session. The mod is the client for the official server; single-player and self-hosting aren't supported.

When the beta opens

  1. Own and install Necesse on Steam.
  2. Subscribe to Raidcesse on the Steam Workshop (link posted on Discord at launch). Close Necesse and let Steam finish downloading.
  3. Launch Necesse and enable Raidcesse in the Mods menu. Restart if prompted.
  4. Open Multiplayer → Join Server, then Add Server or Direct Join with play.raidcesse.com, port 14159.

Straight answers

Can I play right now?

Not yet. Raidcesse is in a closed review before its public beta. Public access is coming soon; join the Discord for the announcement.

Is it free?

Yes. Raidcesse is a free mod. You need your own copy of Necesse on Steam.

Will my progress be kept?

Not guaranteed. During the beta, wipes, bugs or rollbacks can reset items, bases and progress. Wipes are announced on Discord.

Can I host my own server?

No. Raidcesse runs on the official server only, so the rules, wipes and hit checks are the same for everyone.

Found a bug?

Use the in-game Report bug button and describe what you were doing, what happened and what you expected. The report includes game diagnostics. For visual problems or connection errors, post in the Discord playtest chat.
